Carl Ellis has been a photographer since his early teenage years. From High School yearbook staff to college events and functions, to the Bronx Zoo, and all the way to Africa. With several group shows across the country and even a few solos in NYC, he is continually evolving his technique and style while keeping his work exciting and relevant.
After earning his BFA in photography, he moved to New York City and began, what would become, a successful career in advertising. Throughout the years, he’s advanced in both creative and leadership positions. Training with experts in art direction, color theory, design, retouching, photo editing, printing, and business management; He brings with him a lifetime of experience and pours it into Carl Ellis Photography, Photo Booth Studios.
Carl not only offers photoshoots, but digital processing, printing, scanning, enlargements, photo restoration, and some lite retouching. He truly loves his work and is happy to offer his services. From profile shots to family portraits, to intimate photo studies. His experience and knowledge will buy you the highest quality product for all of your memorable moments. He feels weddings are best suited for photographers who specialize in this field, which there are many, so he will respectfully turn down wedding requests.
